Play streets in Havering

Regular play streets

Havering Council does not currently offer residents the opportunity to apply for regular play streets. But we would love to help get play streets up and running here. If you’d like to see streets open for play in Havering too, please get in touch. In the meantime, you can apply for a one-off event to try the idea – see below.

Want to try out a play street?

Want to run a one-day only play street? Perhaps on Car Free Day or another day? You can! Find out if a play street is for you and your neighbours  by having a one-off event. Apply through a street party application. More details below.

Apply at least eight weeks before your event.

Good news! It’s free!

All residents must be informed of dates and times and efforts made to deal with any objections before applying.

By the way…

Councils are liable to change dates, process and contact details. We try hard to keep this page updated but if you notice that something is not right, please let us know!
